American Association of Chemistry Teachers (AACT)

Last fall the ACS launched the American Association of Chemistry Teachers (AACT) which is dedicated to improving chemistry education and providing resources to K-12 chemistry and physical science teachers nationwide. If you are a K-12 chemistry teacher or know of one who would like to join the AACT, the local section will pay for a one year membership for up to 25 teachers.  Please contact Jeffrey A. Local Students Win Chance to Qualify for Intl Chemistry Olympiad

The Inland Northwest Section of the American Chemical Society has announced the names of four outstanding high school chemistry students. The students took a national exam that may qualify them to become members of the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad team that will compete in the 46th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) in Hanoi, Vietnam, July 20 – 29, 2014.

LOCAL STUDENTS WIN CHANCE TO QUALIFY FOR INTERNATIONAL CHEMISTRY OLYMPIAD

The Inland Northwest Section of the American Chemical Society has announced the names of nine outstanding high school chemistry students. The students will take a national exam that may qualify them to become members of the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad team that will compete in the 45th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) in Moscow, Russia, July 15-24, 2013.
